Dr. Kristen Brendel is a licensed IL Social Work CEU provider through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation. Many professional development (PD) events she facilitates are also eligible for CEUs. Dr. Brendel is happy to customize PD trainings and retreats to meet your organization's needs. Some topics she has provided PD on in the past include, but are not limited to, mindfulness-based interventions for professionals, stress reduction, sustainable self-care and resilience, mindfulness-based stress reduction, preventing secondary traumatic stress, ethics and diversity, and interventions for chronic health conditions, and forest-bathing/nature-based interventions.
